Brussels establishes the standards and the operating principles of the various programs through EU tenders containing: description of the program, financial framework, procedure, deadlines for proposal submission, amount of assistance and selection criteria.

HOW TO DRAFT A PROJECT

  1. European dimension involving several Member States: for example, a company must find partners in other Member States.
  2. Startup capital: the EC does not finance 100% of a project. All partners must finance a portion of the overall cost with their own resources.
  3. Non-profit: all financed activities cannot generate profit for the company; the financial plan must be balanced.
  1. Preparing and submitting reports on the progress of the activities is an essential requirement, since the loan is disbursed in several installments.
  2. Proposals must be in English.
